My Lent Challenge – Week 2 Roundup

Well, quite frankly, I am narked.

As we enter Week 3 of Lent I have not lost any weight by giving up chocolate, but have put it on. #FML

So when I started I was 12st 2lbs and Wednesday morning I weighed 12st 3lbs. RUBBISH.

However, in trying to find some positives from the last couple of weeks, my skin is much clearer and I have had nowhere near as many breakouts as I normally would. And that does make me happy.

So again I carry on..

I have also put back on my FitBit Flex so I can track my activity.

And as Spring starts to slowly appear, I am more ‘up’ for eating salads, so will be making an effort this week to plan my lunches better and swap some sandwiches for some home-made salads.

Fingers crossed!!

Keep Calm and Carry On Linking Sunday

  1. I so wish I could up chocolate but I just can’t do it,no willpower at all me!!I always find I fancy eating salads when the weathers nicer.Keep plodding on,sounds as though you’re doing well xx

  2. I have given chocolate up for lent too, it’s so hard isn’t it?! I am sure if you keep it up you will loose weight, it’s great your skin is looking better though..maybe just focus on that for now! Good luck for the rest of lent, you can do it!

Thank you so much for linking this up to #KCACOLS. Hope to see you again Next Sunday xx

  3. You have done so well to give up chocolate. You must be thinking about Easter more than most! I now take salads for my lunches instead of sandwiches. It does feel healthier and they are quite nice too. Hope you enjoy yours. And well done on the choc, keep up the good work.

  4. Well done – I couldn’t do 3 weeks without chocolate! I’m sure there are health benefits regardless of weight loss or not. Plus sometimes it is water levels or losing fat but gaining muscle (which weighs more) that can lead to weight gain or no change. #KCACOLS

  5. It is great that you are not eating chocolate. I also stop eating chocolates and diet coke. Both things that I was having a lot! You are doing great because your mentality is changing to try and eat healthier so that is what is important. And yes thanks God spring is coming so we start thinking about the summer and trying to get fit for that moment. Also those sunny days are the best. They really help you to get in to the healthy and fitness spirit. Good luck for the rest of lent. Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. I would love to see you again on Sunday! 🙂 x

  6. Ahhh I have no willpower to give stuff up full-stop so well done you! You’ll be healthier even if no weight of and it’s still a great achievement so try not to be too disheartened! Good luck with the fitbit etc ☺ #KCACOLS
